Your Email is probably filled with messages that haven’t been opened, that you hope to open and you feel overwhelmed by all of the messages, Email management may seem like something to overlook, albeit very important. This blog post will show you a few ways you can handle all the emails that are in your inbox without feeling overwhelmed and being at the risk of losing important messages, and also boost your efficiency.

  1. Categorize: Create folders for your emails to make sure you do not miss out on important ones. When these folders are put into category, it makes it easy to know the emails to prioritize.                                                                           
  2. Check your mail, and respond immediately: When you get a message, always check it, f you do not have an answer put it in a folder category labeled ‘To look into” then set an alarm to take care of those mails. However, in moments where you can respond immediately, please do so so that you can avoid having piled up emails that you’d need to work on.                                                                                                                                          
  3. Remove Excess: There are newsletters you’re subscribed to that you no longer have interest in, unsubscribing from those newsletter will streamline the mail you get and get rid of unwanted newsletters or promotional mails.                                                                                                                     
  4. Set alarm to check your mails: When you have a time block that is reserved to check your mail, and respond appropriately. Creating a specific time helps you avoid other interruptions.                                                     
  5. Always Declutter: Delete old Emails that have no use so that you can keep an inbox that is filled with relevant information, and help you focus on relevant things.
