
Live Your Best Life: Six Steps to Accomplishing your Biggest Goals

Having clarity about your goals in life is essential to have the motivation to achieve those goals. This is because to achieve your dreams and live a life you love, the goals and resolutions you set are crucial.
However, in trying to reach our goals, we often hit all kinds of snags and barricades from our minds and experiences. Going after what you want is actually easy if you choose it to be. We often make it much harder for ourselves than it needs to be because we’re scared. The short answer is to just do it; whatever you imagine your best life to be, just go after it.
Here is a list of steps that will guide you in achieving your biggest goals in life.
1. Decide what you want
If you know what you want, write it down as if you have already done it, and put it somewhere where you can read it every morning and night. Let it become an all-consuming, burning urge inside you, an energy that attracts your desires towards you.
However, in order to determine what you want, you have to know who you are and be in touch with your deepest dreams and wants.
Note: The starting point to all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat.
2. Believe in yourself
Have faith in yourself. Always remember that nobody was born perfect and we all make mistakes, but at the end of the day, we are our own critics. Do not settle for anything less than magical! If your dream is to help people live their best life and let their inner light shine, do it! We all have a purpose and a place that makes us happy and helps us feel fulfilled.
3. Ignore Naysayers
You might be your own naysayer. The inner naysayer is that voice that tells us we can’t do it, we aren’t smart enough, we aren’t rich enough, we aren’t lucky enough, we don’t know the right people, etc. To be able to pull off our unique version, don’t listen; substitute your inner naysayer with an empowering voice.
4. Get a mentor
There is always someone doing more. Find someone with a like mind who has really achieved what you intend to dwell into, study them and learn from both what they did right and also what they did wrong to save yourself some missteps.
5. Ask for help
Don’t think you can do it alone without the help of others. Break your dreams into bite-sized pieces and put them back together then ask for help from those you trust. Let them help you build it up strong and work out the kinks.
6. Check your goals frequently
Whatever you use in keeping records of your accomplished goals, be it a journal, a day planner, etc., make sure you check your progress frequently. No matter how positively you are thinking, you need to assess your progress or lack of. Take a look at all of the factors that are keeping you from accomplishing your goal and develop a plan to overcome them.
