What are the Ingredients Needed?
- 3 pita breads
- 2 chicken laps or 2 chicken franks
- 1 small sized cabbage
- 3 medium sized carrots
- 1 large cucumber
- 2 big tomatoes
- 1 medium sized onions
- Ketchup
- Mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon vegetable
For Marinade
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 2 teaspoon curry
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 large chicken stock cube
- Half a teaspoon black pepper
- Chilli pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
How to Make Shawarma
Step 1: You need to wash and cut the vegetables into thin strips. Also, cut the chicken into thin strips and set them aside.Step 2: Place the chicken strips into a bowl, add the marinade and mix thoroughly until it is evenly spread. After, cover and store in the fridge for at least 2 hours.Step 3: Heat up a tablespoonful of oil in a pan. Then, add the marinated chicken and stir fry until juicy and brownStep 4: Mix some mayonnaise and ketchup together. Place the pita bread on a clean flat surface and cut into two equal sizes. Then, spread the mayonnaise and ketchup mix on it. Fill with the sliced vegetables and marinted chicken on one end and then, sprinkle some chilli pepper (it is optional).
